What a week! Monday I went in to teach my mini lesson and Tuesday I met Mr. Lenz.Wednesday I substitute taught for a half day and went with my mom to Maryville.
Thursday I went to Maryville with Ashley so we could get our caps, gowns, and tickets. Then I had to pick up Tucker and Finn at their grandparents. I took them home at seven o'clock and Brett met me there. He took Tucker and got him all set up in a swing while he made dinner. I got Finn all set in a bubble bath. After dinner was ready and the bath had gotten cold we went downstairs to eat and watch Thomas The Train of course! After awhile Finn said he was tired and went to bed willingly. Only to yell down five minutes later "You forgot to put socks on me! You forgot my socks! Hey you guys you forgot about the socks!" I went upstairs to correct my mistake and Finn stayed in bed all night. Tucker wasn't feeling well but he did pretty good too. Brett was the best, he took Tucker at five in the morning so I could be rested up for graduation! Around 7:30a.m. I woke up to "Look who's here to see you" Brett plopped Finn down and handed off Tucker. I took them upstairs so I could get them both fed breakfast while Brett got ready for court. After he was ready he dressed Finn so I could get ready and get all of our stuff rounded up. I got Tucker dressed while Brett warmed up my car...we were a team! Brett headed off to court and I dropped off the kiddos at the places they needed to be. I had to get home and get ready for graduation!
We left here around 11:30a.m. so we could get there at 12:15p.m. I met Ashley out front so we could get our caps and gowns on and figure out where we were supposed to be! We lined up with our major and became a nervous wreck! Once we walked out it all felt real :) We walked by all of our professors and saw our family and friends. Honors stood up and Ash and I realized what an honor it really was to have our white cords. Next thing we knew we were walking across stage to our names being called out and shaking Dr. J's hand! Lydia was even there from the board. And it was all over in the blink of an eye...
Now on to the next adventure!
