Friday, Brett and I finally got the apartment all ready and just in time for Christmas! Dinning room table- check, coffee table I bought years ago and stored at my dad's office- check, and my dad seeing my apartment- check! After the apartment was made all ready we made some food for Wine and Cheese and headed to Nancy's...after Nancy's Wine and Cheese is Cousin's Christmas. It was all a great time :)
Saturday morning Brett and I headed to Charlie and Millie's for breakfast. We were shockingly the first ones there! Alissa had my name and got me an awesome Jim Shore Santa and Rudolph. Brett had gotten her and gave her an iTunes gift card. Gabe had Brett and got him some tool that made him the happiest boy ever! I had Charlie and got him a Rush Lake picture. Millie gave all the women an antique whisk, a random kitchen supply (I got a cheese slicer), she got me pajama pants, an MU t-shirt, slippers, a compact, and a cookbook. Brett got a hammer and jeans.
We came back to the apartment for a power nap and to watch the football game. But by 4p.m. we were back at the Christmas celebrations! We had Baptist Church communion and then went to my grandma Pat's to see everyone and head to the Presbyterian Church for Christmas Eve service. After the service was dinner at Mike and Sandy's. Dinner was delicious and Bingo was a blast, got some sunglasses! Pat got me a Christmas plate, photo album with pictures, and towels. Aunt Krys gave Brett and I a gift card. Aunt Sandy gave me an Arkansas wine glass.
Christmas morning we woke up at my parent's house. I got tons of teaching clothes, shoes, and more! After my parents we went to Brett's parents. I got even more spoiled with stuff there!
We had to take a time out so Brett could take a nap since he's sick and then we went to Millie and Charlie's for dinner and back to my parent's to watch It's A Wonderful Life...what a blessed Christmas.
