Wednesday was my first day at Tarkio Elementary. I was pretty overwelmed when I found out I was going to plan the science RTI time for the third grade, not only for me to teach, but for the other three people to teach...woo! The second day was better because I got to talk to the teacher more, figured more of the building out, got to read to the kids, and looked up some GLEs. By Friday, Pajama Day, I had some plans ready for the following Tuesday and I was feeling a little better about this whole new job.Friday night was fun at my sister's. She had a jean party! Brett and I ended up staying the night and watching the MU basketball game the next day. After the game we went home...just to return soon and go to St. Joe. We went shopping at Target and Bed, Bath, and Beyond, went to eat at 54th Street, and went to see Sherlock Holmes.
Sunday, we did some work around the house (laundry, cleaning the kitchen, and taking down the Christmas decore!) then took Nancy and Kevin to dinner for Nancy's birthday (Monday).
Monday, I had a day off...yay!! But Brett had to go to work...boo!! However, since he was out of the house I got some work done. I continued to work on the wedding thank yous, looked over some school stuff, and even made a big lunch for Brett :)
