Brett and I flew out early Friday morning and I had a connection in Houston. We got to Cancun and rode a shuttle to our resort...WOW! It was beautiful! We had a tour and hit the beach. The water was too cold in the pool, but okay in the ocean. We were quickly joined by some fishy friends (: We ate our first meal and headed back to the room to test out the jacuzzi! We ate sushi for dinner (because we got turned away from the Mexican place due to our attire) and called it a great first day! The next morning we order room service for breakfast! We painted an awesome plate and made some friends while doing so, we took these new friends to lunch! After lunch we went swimming in the ocean. That night we had an amazing candle light dinner...romance! That night was also the Casino Night by The K Team, it was a blast! I made $700 (fake) in one move, Brett turned $1,500 (fake) into $5,000 at Black Jack. On the third day we had room service again! We went to the pool where Brett got in on some water polo, we even did some water olympics! The pool side games were a lot of fun, but the best part was the free five minute massage. After the massage and games, well the games kept going! We went and shot air riffles, what fun! We had Jojo's for a late lunch and La Isla for dinner...they had fondue! After dinner we made the Fire Show! It was amazing to see the talent the fire show people have! We got up early the next morning to make our flight, only to learn we didn't need to rush...our flight was delayed! We ate some Jimmy Buffet, made our flight and made the connection by RUNNING through the airport...it was an experience...some may say an adventure!
But we're home now and I better get to bed. I had a not so relaxing day of waiting for our luggage, uploading pictures, washing bedding, opening presents, and catching up with some people...wish I wasn't sick for my first day tomorrow. Wish me luck!
