Bachelorret Party!

Friday, I was received great news at seminar. I did it, I passed my Teacher Work Sample and I will be gracing that stage with my presence! After seminar, Ashley and I went to Rock Port where we met up with Nichole. I took them by the apartment so they could see all of the remodeling Brett has been doing. Then we got some pizza and headed to my parent's house. We had a relaxing night of conversation and movies! Ashley even straightened my hair :) Gotta love those girls!
Saturday, we got up and were heading out at 9:00am! Amber came over and rode in my car with the girls. Mom and Lexi rode together in Lexi's car. We went to Zona Rosa first, found mom a dress for the wedding and then ate at 54th Street. Next, we went to David's Bridal to try on my dress and take it home. Megan and Amy met us there. It was so awesome having all of the girls see me in my dress, I just about cried. Linda, the amazing alterations lady, even helped me figure out how I want to do my hair on the big day...you know, the one in 40 days...or 6 short weeks! After we had the dress we headed to Legends. Just a little more shopping and we were headed to the hotel to get ready!
Ashley Asbury met us at the hotel. We checked in, unloaded, and got ready. It was pretty quick since we had shirts that said "We're getting wild at Shelby's Bachelorett party" that were blue with purple writing...they were sooo cute!
Once we were dressed, heavy eye make-uped, and freshly curled do's we hit Tom Fooleries. Ann and Lee were already there. Nancy and Amy quickly arrived with Tucker. Megan Landess and the Whitford women added to our group! After dinner and drinks, including a Scooby snack, we went back to the hotel, Nancy took my dress home and we opened presents. Nancy gave me a $25 Target gift card that looked like a stroller. Mom and Lexi gave me some undies with a $40 Victoria's Secret gift card. Ashley Pfeil gave me a Target gift card. Nichole gave me a ton of different games, like a banana ring toss, Cosmo truth or dare, erotic glow-in-the-dark dice, and a spinner sex game. Amy gave me a body paint kit. Amber gave me a toy and a Crilla's $20 grab bag that had condoms, underwear, stockings, lube, a dirty dvd, another toy, and other odds and ends. After the presents we hit up the trolley and headed to Ernie and Biggs! I got to sit on the piano and sing about Brett's meat having a first name...lol Mom got on stage too for her up-coming birthday! We left E&B's and headed to Power and Light, on to the Shark Bar. We did some sweatin' to the oldies there and then headed back to the hotel.
Sunday, we went to H&M, ate in Liberty and headed back home.
It was such a great weekend with the girlies! 6 weeks...39 days!
