Vacation

More time to think and unfortunately I’ve been contemplating some sad things in life. Recently I’ve been very aware of the unhappy things around me. When people go out of their way to hit and hurt an animal, a young child with disabilities, and an elderly man while his wife takes care of him. There is a lot of hurt in the world. Sometimes I wish that I wasn’t so compassionate or had such a tender heart, but maybe that’s what the world needs; someone to feel for them.

On a happier note, the first night in Branson we ate at Outback Pub and checked into our hotel. On Our first day in Branson we relaxed at the pool, ate at Danna’s and Shake N Steak, and went to see Legends. We got to see Blues Brothers, Martina McBride, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, George Straight, and Elvis. It was sad to see dead celebrities portrayed by actors, but interesting too. ‘Check Yes or No’ made me think of Brett’s proposal, which made me miss him more. ‘Love Me Tender’ was precious too.

Today, we went out of our norm and ate at Falls Creek, not impressed. Then we went out on the boat from 1-5pm and checked out Branson. Ate at the big chicken place, it was soo good, and went to the Hollywood Wax Museum!! Even shopped at this $1 jewelry store.

Tomorrow is our last day and we’re going out with a bang! We’re going to the Dixie Stampede!!

Friday, we are traveling home. Well, my parents are at least. We’ll go to Springfield to pick up my Grandma and hopefully meet Miss Kinley Fisher. Then we’ll be meeting Brett so that I can continue on with him to meet up with Kye and Suzie. I have no idea what we’re doing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with them but it will be nice to meet Brett’s groomsman and friend from law school.
