MINNESOTA!

Tuesday, Brett and I left for Minnesota. We went through a hometown of one of my friends from college, we went through one of the hometowns that my close family friends family is from, and we went through Shelby County! We had some cows wandering around in the road in front of us, but we still got there safely. As soon as we got to town I went with the girls to Ottertail to a cute little store and Brett went fishing with Johnny. Dallas, Taylor, Megan, and I played Sequence. We had spaghetti and smores! We pulled Christmas names too, but I can't tell you who we got ;) That night Brett and I stayed in the cabin with Millie and Charlie. The funniest part is at Carr's when a girl was saying a guy was past the party scene so he was like thirty...
Wednesday, we were up at 6:30am! I went fishing and caught five fish! We moved into our own cabin. I helped with the cooking/cleaning. That night Lee and Ryan got there with the kids so we hung out with them.
Thursday, Gabe woke up Brett with his quacker. I went shopping in Perham to three different places. The best place was a place called Make Me Wine where I got this cute picture that says "Every time I follow my heart it leads me back to you..." I also go a Perham, Minnesota t-shirt! Brett and I went out on the boat with Lee, Ryan, Gabe, Abbie, Gus, Dallas, and Nancy. That night we played Phase 10 with Lee and Ryan!
Friday, Brett had to work. We met up with Lee, the kids, Amy, Finn, Megan, Nancy, and the grandmas for lunch at The Gathering Grounds. Brett and I brought Gabe and Abbie back. I put them down for the nap and after they were up Lee and Ryan got back from fishing. We had fried pickles and decorated shirts. I had a shirt that I put "Perham, MN" "Rush Lake" on the front and "1st Hurst Vaca" "Ottertail" "SF" on the back with cute stuff all around like swirls and fish. That night we played Gin Rummy.
Saturday, everyone was leaving the cabins. However, Brett, Ryan, Lee, the kids and I went to Bemidji where we put our feet in the beginning of the Mississippi River. We also went to see a giant Paul Bunyan. We did a little shopping, had pizza, had some ice cream, and played putt putt. Overall, it was a great adventure and a great week!
Sunday, we're heading home.
Monday, starts my week of teacher meetings, student teaching, and finishing off the Miss Fairfax Contest.
