Jo: First month

Born on Wednesday. Home on Thursday. First outing on Friday. Man, this family sure doesn't take things slowly! Sunday we spent almost the entire day at church. Monday mommy and I had a day to ourselves, then we picked up Wendy and took her to dance class. Tuesday I got to go to my first MOPS meeting. Wednesday, one week old!
Week Two- lost my umbilical cord and started somewhat of a routine with pumping, eating, and sleeping. Went to the doctor and weigh 9 1/2 lbs (75%) still 21 1/4 in (90%) and I also have a hernia.
Week Three- my parents are looking pretty tired these days. My neck is getting stronger and I've even tried rolling back to belly. Mommy has decided that after our six week appointment she will be returning to work and I will be going to Miss Christy's in the morning (Wendy will be at school and then with me at C's in the afternoon) and Nana/Goo's house on Wendy Wednesday (guess it needs a new name now)!
Week Four- we've worked through constipation and now gas. Mommy is learning a lot about things she didn't deal with when Wendy was my age. Even though she lasted twice as long as last time and wanted to keep going, it looks like we will be switching to formula. Mommy is sad, but wants everyone to be happy and healthy. She's going to donate all her pumped milk after she weans herself off the pump. I must be healthy thought because I'm in size 1 diapers and starting to bust out of my newborn clothes.
