This week has been stress CITY! Monday I observed in my classroom, but Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday I taught. The reason it was so stressful was that I found out I can't take a class next semester so I'll have to take it this summer. This also means that I won't be a full time student and I will lose any scholarships that need me to be a full timer. OH WELL! I can try taking a masters class or subbing to make up for all of this change.
Thursday the girls and I went to Nancy's (Brett's mom) to make crafts, eat, and PAR-TAY! Then we saw Beth, Brian, and Bennett. Finally, we made it to The Wildhorse to sing our hearts out.
Friday the girls that stayed the night headed home and I went to the doctor. Found out I have to have surgery. I came back with mom and we had some McDonalds, hit up Wal-mart, and then Hy-Vee. Mom took a nap while I showered, uploaded pictures, and worked on some last minute things. We went to see the last Saw movie and then had some LaBonitas with Nichole!
Saturday we got up early, went to Kegs & Eggs and made some YUMMY hot chocolate. Brett came and got to open his presents from me (Northwest shirt, MU snow cap, pictures of me in frames and Cardinal car seat covers), a card from my mom, and had a cake that the girls made him (Better Than Sex Cake)! We hit up the parade and then it was off to Lincoln to watch the MU/NE game. Unfortunately we lost. However, we still had fun at dinner with TJ & Nichole. We spend the night with them too.
Sunday we came home from the game. Wednesday I have a meeting with a specialist because I have to have surgery soon. I'll keep you posted!
