Thursday (aka yesterday) I got rounded up by nine to take my mom to my apartment. We took some clothing and hit up Two Dollar Bills, Castaways, Wal-Mart, and JcPennies. I got a new backpack, vacuum, trash can, and more! We had some lunch at McDonalds and ice cream at Dairy Queen. We were even back to tie-dye shirts. Dad and I tie-dyed! (I checked them this morning and they look great!) Brett brought over pizza for supper, which was great because mom was called away to tend to Grams. Grandma had a little fever and had to be taken into the hospital for an evaluation---she has a bladder infection. They told her that she is very susceptible to infections because her Chemo has weakened her immune system. Brett and I watched TV, read a magazine, ate, and checked out some trucks online. At one point I looked over at him and realized how fun and comfortable it was to just hang out with him. We didn't even really need to keep a constant conversation going.
Today I have to admit to all my readers that I have gone this full week with only puting in one mile on the treadmill. Between being busy, not feeling well, and just not wanting to make the time...my week has flown! I'm not going to even attempt to do any workout today because I have to be showered and beautiful before one (The Miss Tea) and that will not be over until after three! The opening ceremony for THE FAIR (yes all caps because it is very important and exciting!) is around 6:30 tonight! Bennett and Laiken will be in the babyshow and I can't wait to see them! Plus mom and I will have to make our annual round around THE FAIR to see all the food! This year I am helping with the Jr\Miss Contest so I will be behind stage. After the contest is the dance and one night of THE FAIR is wisked away :(
More about THE FAIR soon ;)
