Friday The Tea didn't end up getting over until after 5! So I got home in time to take a very quick rest...and then and to do one last look over before heading into the park. We got to sit and watch the baby show (three classmates had kids in it) and mom and I had our burgers. I even bought a bag of popcorn to munch on while talking to Tyson. Once the baby show was over I had to get behind stage and make sure all the girls were lined up and ready to go! It got hectic but I loved every second of it! I can't wait to do the whole thing next year, I have so many ideas!! I teared up when the past Miss Fairfax (Tiff Burke) gave her speech. After all the crowning was over (not until 10:30!) I got to say good night to my family and head down to the dance. It took about two minutes before I felt REALLY old. Amber and I got a drink for the Dairy Diner. Then Brett and I headed out.
Saturday morning mom and I went into Grams to have breakfast pizza and then got the seats ready at the park for the parade. I wore my tie-dye t-shirt that dad and I made (had to be twins!) Bennett and Laiken caught some candy, I took a picture of Treyvor, and waved at Tyson on the fire truck. It was a great time :) After the parade I got my turkey sandwich from the FFA stand and some homemade icecream! Mom and I bought some brownies after lossing at the cake walk. Amber and I played the ping pong toss and I won three cups. We also played washers and hilbilly golf, I beat her! Then I got a slushy and decided it was time to head home to cool of and get ready to come back in for talent later. When I came back for talent I had an amazing baked potato, fried oreos, and a peach italian ice!
Sunday was church in the park to finish it off. Brett and I went to Maryville to drop off my futon and tv. While he was at a meeting I put together the vacuum that I didn't have tools for before. We grabbed some Taco Bell and went to St. Joe. He had another meeting and then we hit up the mall. Brett had to go to The Buckle and while he was there I got two phone covers. Then I got two cute watches at JcPennies. I wanted to get a shirt that said "Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Jayhawks" but they didn't have my size. We headed back to Maryville to get a Sonic drinks (had a Cran-Apple Limeaid!) and my dad brought over my fridge! Brett and I went to see Eat, Pray, Love and it was amazing! Finished off the night with ice cream and a $10 v-neck Northwest tee from Hy-Vee!!
