This is the first post about the latest addition to our little family! Brett and I found out we were pregnant on February 9th. We had our first appointment two weeks later (Feb. 24th) and discovered we were seven weeks along! That night we told our parents and the following weeks we told siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends.

Our second appointment was four weeks later, March 23rd and there was such a difference! We were so excited to see everything moving along and our baby growing healthy. We even got to hear the baby's heartbeat. We set our next appointment for five weeks later! We hope that we'll be able to tell the gender by then!

I told my students I was expecting and they were ecstatic! It's been a crazy ride, but definitely one Brett and I have been cherishing :)
