Monday, was my first day at Hurst Greenery! I helped water three green houses, dump a green house of plants, and plant 1,300 mums! From 7:30-12:15 I was sweaty, hot, and covered in dirt...but I loved it!
Tuesday, was another day at work. Got stung by a bee, but kept on working! Even got to bring some flowers home!
Wednesday, was another day of work but with a reward. Brett and I headed out for Tan-Tar-A! We got there around 9:30pm and unfortunatly were greated by some company...bugs! There were a few in the sink, shower, and bed. We figured if we got new bedding and a full clean down then at least we knew we were in a clean room! They told us that they would give us $25 of fun money for the dissatisfaction, but then Saturday when we asked about it they said they would only give it to us if we were staying through until Sunday...which we were not!
Thursday, Brett got up because he had a meeting and I got to stay in bed! I read, watched TV, and had the most relaxing morning! Once Brett was back from his meeting we went out to lunch at JJ Twigs. When we got back we went out on the boat with Tina and Mike (good thing Mike was there because Brett forgot the boat key, so Tina and I got to watch the boys hot-wire the boat) After our boat day we ate at Applebees because apparently everywhere in the Ozarks closes at 10pm!
Friday, Brett and I had lunch at a great mexican place and then layed out by the pool all day. We met up with some lawyers he works with and then went to dinner at Dominico's. After dinner I got to meet Brett's...friend...Maria.
Saturday, we ate at the lawyer lunch and then Steak & Shake for dinner...The whole weekend was wonderful!
