Friday January 28, 2011 Brett took me on a seemingly innocent date...We grabbed some pizza and went to see The Mechanic. He took me to his apartment to see our sectional...or so I thought! I walked right past the proposal sign and sat on the couch. When I turned around I saw that he had a white board that said "First date-Check, Fall in love-Check, Ask your dad-Check, Buy the ring-Check, Will you marry me?" There was a box for yes and a box for no...I checked yes :) He had my favorite flowers and he got down on one knee and asked if I'd be his wife! I said yes!Right now we are enjoying sharing this moment with our family and friends, there have been many phone calls, texts, and facebook announcements!
