It's been a long time since I've posted! We've been keeping busy with work, church, and squeezing in some fun. Summer has been full of weddings and travels. In fact, one weekend we traveled to Davenport to see Ashley and Bryce! Also Amy, Elizabeth, and Nichole! It was so nice to catch up with the girls! I hadn't seen them in a long time and hadn't seen Nichole since she found out she's expecting too! I also went with Amy and Elizabeth to Nichole's baby shower!
Robert was here and we got to eat dinner with him at Stuart and Lexi's house on Monday, swam, flew a kite, rode the gator, and had a cook out at Goo and Papa's on Tuesday, and then went to the Omaha Zoo on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the zoo must have been a little much for me because Thursday I started having lower back pain and increased pelvic pressure. I took it as a clue from my body to take it easy, but Friday we still ended up going to the hospital due to some labor signs. They hooked me up to the fetal heartbeat monitor and everything looked good. So, they sent me home with orders to drink a lot of water, stay out of the sun, stay off my feet, and not to lift Wendy. That last one was the hardest part! Thankfully, we had a doctor's appointment the following Wednesday and our doctor did a sonogram and told us all looked great! She was measuring where she should be, was head down, and as long as she stayed in there for three more weeks we wouldn't have to go to Omaha to the NICU, we'd be able to deliver and stay at CHF. He also told me I could lift Wendy!
Also, since I've written three months ago...Wendy is potty trained!! We're even thinking she will start preschool this August instead of January. Guess we'll see!
