A Fair Report

As many know, THE FAIR is one of my favorite times of the year. It started Friday with friends and family gathering for the baby show. Before we were on stage W wanted to go to everyone and love up on them. However, when we were on stage she was a bit shellshocked! All those people out there looking at her scared her a bit. She looked beautiful in the dress and headband that Aunt Lala got her. As we walked on stage she lost all ability to smile, wave, clap...anything. Se nervously started out into the crowd while I did all I could think of to make her smile, which included singing Happy Birthday :) we did try to pick our nose on stage (which I called before hand) but before we left we did manage one little tiny wave ;)
After the show we went and mooched on our fans. Ice cream was our dinner of choice of course. We stayed up well past our bed time and slept in our dress...it was a good night!
Saturday started with a parade. Wendy got a little scared when the fire trucks came rolling through, but Truman helped us get through that. We had our first sucker! Went on one of the rides and then went home for a nap. After nap, we took a quick bath and went back to THE FAIR! We played a duck game, loved the swings, and went down the slide.
Sunday, church in the park meant a blanket spread out on the ground and cuddles while listening to the service.
I absolutely love THE FAIR, but like all good things if must come to an end. After lunch daddy went to work, W went down for a nap, and I start worrying about school tomorrow...back to reality!
