Saturday I helped Brett babysit his nephew Finn. We picked him up from his grandparents before noon and took him to McDonalds for lunch. "Bretty" got him a cheeseburger but he was much more interested in my chicken nuggets. After one of the cutest lunches I have ever had we took Finn home. He was supposed to go down for a nap, but we heard him saying anything and everything to himself to keep himself awake...then we heard jumping! Brett went upstairs and decided he could come play. I told him he needed to take a two hour nap (from our instructions) but Uncle Brett is a bit of a push-over. However, "dad" (Brooks) called to tell Brett that Finn had to take a nap...busted! I put him down for his nap and got him up when he was awake...two hours later. Uncle Dallas came over and Brett made dinner. I gave Finn his bath and tried to put him down for bed. Finn isn't really a fan of bedtime :) After all was said and done Brett and I watched a couple episodes of Prison Break (I think he loves it too!) and I worked on my final.
Sunday Finn, Brett and I started off the morning with donuts and milk. Brett decided to dress Finn in "Chiefs" red...red pants with a different kind of red top...wow, excited for letting him dress our kids (I'm rolling my eyes) Amy & Brooks are returning around two, until then I'm off to play :)
After lunch with Brett and Finn I put him down for a nap (Finn lol) His parents got home, Brett and I went home to make pizza and watch Ghost Busters 2 (we watched the first one at their house) and Scrooged. Brett remembered that he forgot his over night bag so we had to run back out to their house. When we did Finn was up...and wanted nothing to do with me :(
