Omaha Zoo!!

Saturday I got up bright and early to go with Brett's family to the Omaha Zoo! It was so much fun! We started with the aquarium and ended with the tigers. In between we had some packed lunches. It was a perfect day at the zoo.
After the zoo Brett and I went on a 'fancy' date! I wore a dress and he wore a polo and we hit up A&G in Maryville. We took two hours to talk about tons of stuff, try each others meal, sip on our delightful beverages, and hold hands across the table (we were cheesing it up!!)
It was nice to get all dolled up and go out on the town---acting like a big kid ;)
Today (Sunday) I went to a Protecting God's Children class. It was about child sexual assalt and was not the easiest thing in the world to sit through, especially for two hours. However, it was worth setting through in order to hopefully do my early childhood practicum experience at St. Gregory's. Now I'm back in my room, doing laundry and looking over homework, watching The Ron Clark Story (hope that will motivate me not to change my major).
Tomorrow it's back to the grind of lesson plans, classes, homework, studying, and the list goes on. Pray this week goes fast...
