Time Off

That's right, Amber is the closest thing to a date I've had in awhile now...haha!
My friend wrote about how she was a single, white, female looking for a man. It seems like most of my friends are single. Let me see...both Ashleys, Nichole, Michelle and Megan. The only ones that aren't single is Amy who is getting married this summer and my friend Jill that sadly is not coming back to Northwest.
Personally I have been in relationships. I dated someone for three years before they left me to go to college. I dated someone else for a year and a half before I realized we were two very different people and I let myself enjoy college. I've dated my best friend. I've dated a guy for two weeks. All very different situations. However, at the current time I am also a single, white, female...but am I looking for a man?
I mean this last semester I talked to a good friend of mine about boys all the time. He was in a relationship so he gave me some great advice, while getting to know about my past. He was the first one I talked to when I met a friend of a friend and then the guy did not seem into me at all. He was the first one I talked to when I actually talked to a random guy at a concert. He told me whether guys were good enough for me. He told me what to say to them. He was the first one who knew about a lunch date I was excited about. Girls are a little hard to talk to about boys, since they are single and boys know how other boys think.
Anyway what I think I am trying to say is that I'm at a good point in my life. I don't need to hurry into a relationship. I would love to meet some guys and maintain friendships, but it's not like I need a ring anytime soon. So I guess I just want to be that girl, the one that gets to hang out with the boy that likes her and she likes him and there is that wonderful chance of a possiblity.
So I don't see any blind-dates or proposals in the future, but I do see a very bright future indeed :)
